Palu (UIN Datokarama Palu PR) – Dr. H. Kamarudin, M.Ag, Vice Rector II of UIN Datokarama Palu, delivered a speech and opened the “Translator Training for UIN Datokarama Palu Students” on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
The event was organized by the Language Development Center with the aim of enhancing the translation skills of UIN Datokarama Palu students.
In his remark, Dr. H. Kamarudin, M.Ag, emphasized the importance of translation skills as a highly sought-after competency in this era of globalization. “Through this training, it is hoped that students can sharpen their language skills and broaden their knowledge,” he explained.
Furthermore, Vice Rector II also expressed his hope that this initiative would provide students with opportunities to engage in various international activities, such as seminars, conferences, or student exchanges. This will open up broader opportunities for UIN Datokarama Palu students to contribute on a larger scale, both nationally and internationally.
This training is an effort to strengthen the language and translation competencies of UIN Datokarama Palu students. Participants will receive instruction from experienced translation experts and have the opportunity to practice in real-life situations.
It is expected that through this initiative, UIN Datokarama Palu students will become high-quality translators, capable of bridging language barriers and making positive contributions in various national and international forums.
“We hope that similar activities will continue to be held to develop the potential of UIN Datokarama Palu students in the field of language and related expertise,” he added.
