Palu (UIN Datokarama Palu PR) – Dr. H. Kamarudin, M.Ag., Vice Rector II of UIN Datokarama Palu, delivered a speech and opened the “TOEFL and TOAFL Training for UIN Datokarama Palu Students” on Friday, July 14, 2023. This event was organized by the Language Development Center of UIN Datokarama Palu.
In his remark, Vice Rector II emphasized the importance of English language proficiency for students in facing challenges in the era of globalization. The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and TOAFL (Test of Arabic as a Foreign Language) training is expected to enhance the communication skills and foreign language proficiency of UIN Datokarama Palu students.
“This activity aims to equip students to compete globally and expand their opportunities for studying or working abroad,” stated Vice Rector II.
The training includes various strategies and techniques for taking the TOEFL and TOAFL exams, as well as intensive exercises to improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English and Arabic.
Dr. H. Kamarudin, M.Ag., hopes that this training will significantly benefit UIN Datokarama Palu students in developing their language competencies.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Language Development Center for their efforts in organizing activities that focus on improving the quality of education at the university,” emphasized Dr. Kamarudin.
This event was attended by dozens of enthusiastic UIN Datokarama Palu students who hope that this training will be a useful initial step in enhancing their language skills and opening up new opportunities in the future.
