Humas (Palu) – UIN Datokarama Palu was once again made famous by its students by winning 2nd place in the national constitution debate competition and national oration held by the student association of law and citizenship majors (HMJHKN) State University of Malang.

Yesterday 6-7 June 2022 Teams from the family law student association (HMPSHK), Faculty of Sharia, UIN Datokarama Palu took part in the final stage of the National legal debate competition with preliminary and final rounds.

The UIN Datokarama Debate Team, represented by Syahrul Cahya Wardana, Intan Nur Ilma and Yuyun Andriani Agus, all of whom are second semester students, are delegates from HMPS HK ​​students, Faculty of sharia.

The national debate competition and national oration were participated by 7 teams who managed to enter the elimination stage from various universities in Indonesia. The team consisted of representatives from universities from Yogyakarta State University, UIN SATU Tulungagung, State University of Malang, Jember University, UIN STS Jambi and UIN Datokarama Palu.

This final stage of the debate competition is a continuation of the previous stage, namely the elimination stage which is also evaluated by a committee from the State University of Malang HMJHKN. The elimination stage is carried out by submitting an essay mechanism with the theme “Reactualization of Constitutional Values ​​in the Life of the Nation and State”.

This is certainly a matter of pride for UIN Datokarama Palu because Datokarama team is the only team that represents Eastern Indonesia. Winning second place in this competition reflects activeness and spirit in national-based activities and is able to raise the good name of UIN Datokarama Palu as one of State Universities in the city of Palu, Central Sulawesi.

With this, UIN Datokarama Palu reflects its competitive power in academic activities are no less competent than other universities in Indonesia.
